My favourite beauty products!

I was starting to struggle with blog inspiration so I decided to sit down and really think about one of my favourite and important things in my life. My makeup bag! I love makeup and beauty and always have, so I decided I would write a blog post on my makeup bags and my favourite beauty products.

I will start off by talking about my favourite foundation in the whole world! The Dermaco film studio make up cover can be used as a foundation or a thick well coverage concealer. I am a sucker for a natural looking face of makeup so I use it as concealer or coverup and don't use any foundation unless I'm going full out on a night out! This concealer is insane and I bought it originally to cover a scar that I have on my chin! It a must product.

My next must have makeup product is the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess. This is my all time favourite bronzer, however it isn't the cheapest. Its about £50, however as I live in London I often go to Bicester village which they sell this bronzer in the Estee Lauder store there for much cheaper. Since being a uni student, money is a lot tighter and when I ran out of the bronzer whilst being in Nottingham I thought to make a trip to boots to try and find something similar. I found that the Solait Deep bronze maxi bronzer is a very good high street dupe that works just as well!

When it comes to mascara I use two everyday! Better than sex by Two faced has been one of my favourite mascaras for years. It is a thick brush that applies the perfect amount of mascara to my lashes. Before I use better than sex I use another high street mascara that is by L'OREAL called Baby roll. This is another mascara that is extremely cheap and works amazingly!

Eye shadow! I don't wear eyeshadow often but I have so many different eyeshadow products that I love. I have dark brown eyes so I like to wear orange and cranberry colours to make my eyes look brighter and bigger. One of my favourite eye shadows has to be the Dolce Vita palette by Charlotte Tilbury. This is amazing and the glitter in the palette is so pretty and pigmented. This isn't for everyday use and is more of a palette used for a night out. Another eyeshadow palette I love is NAKED HEAT by urban decay. The colours of in this palette are all my favourite shades for my eye colour. My last and final eye shadow palette that is a must have is the Modern Renaissance palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills. This palette has a wide range of colours and is perfect for natural looks. The only negative I have about this palette is that when applying it has a lot of drop out that comes off of the makeup brush.

Lips are my favourite part of doing makeup! I am extremely fussy when it comes to lipliners and so far I have only ever found two lipliners that have stuck with me for years. My number one favourite lipliner in the world has to be SPICE from mac. It is the perfect nude, not too dark and not too light. It is matte and also lasts the perfect amount of time. Another lipliner I have discovered more recently is the 'everlasting colour precision lip liner' by KIKO in the shade 420. This is another lip liner that is extremely similar to the mac spice. It is good and is much cheaper than mac.

When it comes to lipstick and lip gloss I am also really fussy. I hate matte lipsticks because I hate the feeling of them on my lips and also don't believe they ever last very long. MY favourite type of lipstick has to be a velvets. I have two ultimate favourite. First one being Velvet Teddy from mac. This lipstick is a middle shade nude and it matches perfectly with the lip liner spice. It is smooth and comfortable on the lips and lasts the perfect amount of time. My other ultimate favourite lipstick is the Sephora's own brand nude velvet lipstick. I don't actually know the shade or collection it is in, which is what I need to find out next time I go to a Sephora!

FAKETAN - I know I was originally going to just write about makeup but I thought Id include fake tan as that is also crucial to me! For my face I use 'The face' by Tan Luxe. This is a mini bottle of oil that needs to be mixed with a face moisturizer and then applied with the hands. It is the perfect tan for the face that never goes patchy and lasts a good amount of time before having to reapply it. It develops gradually over 4-5 hours.

For my body my favourite fake tan is Soltan the spray Medium-Dark. I also use the mousse of this and both products are very good. They are reasonable prices and they never leave me patchy or streaky! They are the perfect golden colour, especially after applying two layers.

Another product that is a must buy is Tan-Luxe instant hero skin perfecter. This is an instant bronzing tan that gives you the perfect tan and glow. It is an illuminating wash off body bronzer. The only downside to this product is that it makes everything brown and comes off immediately after one shower.
