• Romance is about savouring, slowing down, noticing, discovering, appreciating, feeling and courage. 

Romance in relation to fashion: 

• Trend stories are usually shown through the use of colour, images, materials, fabrics etc.
• Romance can often be shown through feminine details, soft colours and flats fabrics. 
• Romance in fashion can often also depend on the season. Often during spring, designers return to darkness and romanticism. 
• 'Alexander McQueen' his aim was that his series and clothes celebrated women and if they did not always reflect how a woman herself wanted to be celebrated, and they at least shed a particular light on her reality. 

Romance in shops/retail -

A lot of consumers today are shopping online rather than in store. This is because the store does not offer information that can be provided online swell as online shopping is a much quicker process and people today may often not have much time to go into stores. Online shops often lack romance that can be shown in store. Romance is manufactured by being creative. 

Emotion is such an important part of shopping. Social media brands should take advantage of these emotions. They can take advantage of emotions through visuals, images and colour. 

Romance in people - 

Romantic relationships is an extremely meaningful part of life. Romance provides fulfilment and allows two individuals to have a healthy, loving relationship. Research suggests that the ability to form stable relationships begins during a Childs early experiences of life through their caregivers who give the child food, love, care and protection.
