Beauty and the Beast
Growing up as a child beauty and the best was one of my all time favourite Disney movies! I recently watched the Beauty and the beast movie that came out last year. I never saw it when it first came out and then recently discovered that it was on Netflix. The second I found out that it was on Netflix I immediately suggested to my friends that we have a movie night and watch it!
I thought the film was absolutely incredible! Everything about it, from the actors, to the costumes to the screen visuals and music. I have always been a huge fan of Emma Watson and I believe that she played the part of Bella amazingly. Watching the live version of beauty and the best gave me and exciting thrill and as much as the story is make believe - it was extremely believable watching it. The modern day version of Beauty and the best was trying to adapt the classic which is supposedly a 1740 fairy tale. Emma Watson is a beautiful young woman that played the role of Belle perfectly. Not only does she actually look like a real life version of the princess belle but she made the film believable, enjoyable and gripping to watch.
The original film is an incredible musical and magical experience to watch and I believe that they adapted this as well as they possibly could into a modern day version. I was really pleased with the outcome of the movie and enjoyed watching every second of it. The film actually made me cry which the original version of the movie doesn't! I felt emotionally attached and couldn't take my eyes off of the screen for a second.
When I was younger Belle was always my favourite Disney princess. Everything about her, I loved the fact that she fell In love with a beast and not the typical prince that all the other girls wanted. When she was living in the beasts castle, my favourite scene is when the all of the characters living in the castle make her sit down and eat dinner. It is such a magical and actually funny scene, listening to all of the house objects sing and talk to a human. It is so creative and really does have a magical atmosphere to the scene. You cant help but smile when watching it.
Since watching the film, I have been listening to the main song 'Beauty and the Beast' but the Ariana Grande and John Legend version of it. Both artists have extremely powerful voices and have recreated the song incredibly. I am now waiting for the modern day version of Aladdin to come out in a few weeks :)
