My wardrobe essentials!
Being in first year of uni, I believe that there a few fashion essentials that have really got me through first year! Being at university consists of doing coursework, lazing around, and clubbing.
My first essential is a pair of comfortable tracksuit bottoms. A pair of trackies are so essential, to shove on in the morning at 9am for your lecture whilst feeling extremely hungover. Not many people can be bothered to make much effort for a 9am after a heavy night before, and what better way to feel extremely comfortable. My favourite pair of tracksuit bottoms are from American eagle and are a light grey soft slouchy fit.
The next essential thing that has got me through the year are my ugg slipper. Whilst walking around uni accommodations, the floors aren't the cleanest and it gets annoying putting a pair of shoes every time you want to leave your bedroom. Even to go down to pick a takeaway up, go and hang outside with friends, slide the slippers on. They are quick, comfortable and warm!
My next thing that I couldn't live without at university, is a pair of black ripped jeans. Being in first year, you go on many nights out throughout the year which means many different outfits are needed. This can get expensive having to order new pieces of clothing all the time. What better way to keep the cost low and still rock every outfit when you go out. A pair of black pretty much go with whatever top and are suitable to wear on nights out at university. They are comfortable, reliable, flattering and an easy option for a night out. They are also accessible to buy from pretty much any high street store including top shop, urban outfitters, Primark and so on.
Another essential for a night out at university has to be a wide range of crop tops and bodysuits. As I mentioned earlier, outfits for the amount of nights out during first year can become extremely expensive and owning plain crop tops and bodysuits can be worn multiple times. They are cute and simple and often extremely reasonable priced to buy. Most of the bodysuits I have purchased this year are from websites such as pretty little thing, misguided and top shop. My favorite type of crop top is a bandeau. They are flattering and come in every color.
HOODIES! Hoodies are a must have whilst being at uni. This is because throughout the year, accommodation can get extremely cold. Hoodies are comfortable and warm and even when its not winter, shoving a hoodie on to chill out with friends during the day and night. I tend to have so many different hoodies in different colours that I just alternate on regular basis because they are warm and comfortable.
